Retail, Industrial, or Office Space for Lease: Are You Willing to Renovate?
July 15, 2014
Round Rock is about to get another business. According to an article in the Houston Business Journal, Angleton-based Benchmark is awaiting the completion of renovations to an existing Round Rock facility that it will be moving into. The company, which manufactures electronics for various markets including defense and medical, will be forming a partnership with the Austin Community College in order to train people for jobs. It plans to hire about 80 people for high-tech positions.
There's a lot of talk in the Houston area lately about the number of businesses which are constructing their own new space or leasing space in a building currently under construction. However, the area has many existing buildings that have been, or could be, upgraded in order to be suitable for a new generation of tenants. And in an environment where there is so much competition for space, leasing a renovated space is often a very attractive option.
If you have retail, industrial, or office space for lease in Houston, would you be willing to renovate in order to attract the right tenant and command a higher price? If a tenant was requesting renovations in order to lease from you, would you oblige? At LandPark Commercial, we understand that the details are often what moves a tenant to choose one place over another. With a strategy that combines ensuring that your property is lease-ready and utilizing a large network of brokers and an aggressive marketing campaign, we can help you lease your space quickly.
